The FRENCH CLUB
Le cercle français
The purpose of the French club is to promote the study and use of the French language.
French Club is a chance for students to do fun activities that are not possible to be done in the classroom, which will stimulate interest in the French language and culture We offer a friendly and stimulating environment to help students gain confidence in using French. The classes are designed to develop comprehension, pronunciation, intonation, vocabulary, grammar, written expression and conversational ability.
The French Club shall provide for its members, opportunities to practice their skills and expand their knowledge of the French language through various cultural, intellectual, academic, and social activities.
SPONSORS
Mr. Van Rossum Miss L. M Humphreys MEMBERSHIP Membership shall be open to students who are enrolled at a Secondary school who are interested in the French language.
Membership will be revoked if students have disciplinary problems at school, the French club and in the community.
MEETINGS/CLASSES French Club members will meet twice weekly for one hour
MEMBERSHIP FEES Students are required to pay $65.00 monthly or $195.00 per semester.
